WHSmith has revealed the locations of a further 17 Toys R Us shop-in-shops across the UK.
The news follows WHP Global – the parent company of Toys R Us – securing a long-term deal with WHSmith as the exclusive shop-in-shop partner for TRU in the UK.
Under the terms of the deal, WHSmith will have the exclusive licence for Toys R Us shop-in-shops in its high street stores, and will open 30 new shops this summer.
The news follows the successful launch of a number of shop-in-shops in selected WHSmith stores in 2023. The deal is part of WHP Global’s mission to expand the presence of Toys R Us across the UK retail landscape.
Three of the new concessions – in Hereford, Herefordshire, Leamington Spa in Warwickshire and Fosse Park in Leicester – will open on 25 May.
The 17 shop-in-shops are: Hereford, Herefordshire; Fosse Park, Leicester; Leamington Spa, Warwickshire; Guildford, Surrey; Sutton, Surrey; Shrewsbury, Shropshire; Salisbury, Wiltshire; Victoria Shopping Centre, Nottingham; Maidstone, Kent; Woking, Surrey; Hastings, East Sussex; Thurrock, Essex; Newton Abbott, Devon; Halifax, West Yorkshire; Lancaster, Lancashire; George Street, Richmond, London; and Taunton, Somerset
