Leading international nursery brands have been signing up for Kind + Jugend 2018 (20 – 23 September) to secure their stands early, as remaining space is already limited. The show, which is close to being sold out, has also started to put together a strong event and seminar progamme for this year.
This year’s show, which is once again held in Cologne, Germany, will play host to approximately 1,200 exhibitors, and will be a truly international event, with more than 85% of the exhibitors coming from overseas.
Key brands include: ABC Design, Angelcare,Baby Bjorn, Babymoov, Bebecar, Britax Roman, Cybex, Diono, Dorel, ergobaby, Hauck, iCandy, Infantino, Jané, Joie / Nuna, Joolz, Kiddy, Munchkin, Peg Perego, Philips Avent and Uppababy.
The event programme this year – named the ‘Support Circle’ – will focus on looking forward to the future of the nursery market, offering a combination of information on innovations, trend presentations and topic presentations.
The Kind + Jugend Innovation Award, the Kids Design Award and the Consumer Award are also central to the event programme, highlighting trends and products the industry can expect to see more of in the future.
All winners will be announced on the first day of the fair (Thursday 20 September) and the winning products and designs will be presented throughout the exhibition center.
Trend Forum lectures will be presented by industry experts and trend researchers and will look at the fashions which are likely to influence supply and demand throughout the baby and children’s equipment industry.
Finally, the special Design-Parc show will also highlight objects, furniture and toys presented which are already on the market and are notable for their exceptional design, while The Connected Kidsroom will cover the new and groundbreaking technologies being used within children’s rooms.
