To celebrate the launch of tonies at Hamleys, the brand held a Gruffalo-themed storytelling event at the flagship store in London’s Regent Street.
Ten tonies fans and their families won tickets to the event hosted by Giovanna Fletcher and MC Grammar. The guest list included Vogue Williams, Binky Felstead, Ali Bastian and Perri Edwards, who enjoyed a magical morning before the store opened to the public.
The star of the show was a larger than life Toniebox. MC Grammar rapped his infamous World Book Day song, and read Julia Donaldson stories and songs, while Giovanna played the leading part of a Room on the Broom production with children from the audience.
Fans left with happy memories and a bumper goody bag full of tonies treasures and Gruffalo gifts. tonies is now stocked at Hamleys, and the partnership tops off a successful year for the brand, which was recently named as the fastest growing preschool toy brand in the UK by NPD.
