Adding to its collection of over 150 titles for children aged three and over, the brand has added Horrible Histories, a relaunched Travelling Songs Tonie and a West African Tales title to its offering.
Following on from the popular launch of Horrible Histories: Rotten Romans, tonies has now released Horrible Histories: Tudors. Listeners will learn about the horrifying Henries, Tudor torture and will follow King Richard III and Henry Tudor into battle, and more.
Little ones will be taken on an educational tour of the world with the musical Travelling Songs Tonie. They can sing along to favourites such as Home on the Range and She’ll be Coming ‘Round the Mountain. Children will also learn about the solar system, the continents and the wonders of the world in a sing-song style.
Finally kids can go on a cultural journey and jump into traditional folk tales from a faraway land with Yande, a griot from West Africa with the West African Tales Tonie. Griots are an important and treasured member of West African culture and are storytellers, singers, musicians and oral historians, who keep heritage alive as stories are passed down the generations.
The Tonie features stories of mysterious and clever animals, can join in by making the sound effects, and will be tested with a fun quiz at the end.
