Tinie and Silver Cross unveil ‘Rise by Tinie’ collection

Artist, producer and dad-of-two, Tinie Tempah, has partnered with nursery brand, Silver Cross, to launch a unique collection of travel essentials – designed to elevate the parenting experience and reflect the needs of modern British parents.

The ‘Rise By Tinie’ range features three intuitive, innovative and individualist products, inspired by Tinie’s own experiences as a dad. Designed by Tinie himself, the collection aims to be super functional but with a high-end, luxury look and feel.

Aiming to diversify the baby essentials market, the range combines seamless style with diligent functionality and a commitment to sustainability and responsibility.

The meticulous detail and tactile touchpoints of brushed titanium, unique emblem-printed fabric and subtle hints of dynamic green create a futuristic but unisex aesthetic to appeal to all parents.

“I wanted to focus on the design and luxury element of the products,” commented Tinie. “I’ve always wondered as a dad why there hasn’t really been a pram, travel cot or car seat with a more unisex aesthetic that will appeal to men just as much as women.”

Each product uses fabric made from recycled plastic bottles, with up to 73 bottles used in every piece. In addition, each product comes in plastic-free, fully recyclable packaging.

The Rise By Tinie signature collection is available exclusively in-store and online at John Lewis, with 100 limited edition pieces of each product. All 300 pieces feature Tinie’s ‘signature’ exclusively integrated into the design, and come with a signed photograph. For every signature piece sold, Silver Cross and Tinie will donate an essential baby product to a family in need via charity partner Baby Basics UK.

Roseanne Winthrop, category lead for nursery at John Lewis, commented: “Silver Cross are a valued partner of ours at John Lewis and we are delighted to be the exclusive stockist for the The Rise By Tinie range.

“This is a fantastic collaboration, one I know that our customers are going to be excited by. Our customers come to us for our trusted service and advice when looking to purchase from our nursery department and this innovative collection is perfect for the modern family.”

David Abbott, director of marketing at Silver Cross, added: “We are thrilled to be launching this unique collection with Tinie, and this collaboration feels incredibly organic.

“We felt like his vision to create a simple, innovative product that doesn’t sacrifice on style, really complemented ours as a brand.”
