Thule wins 12 iF Design Awards

The 12 awards put Thule among the 20 most successful companies worldwide participating in the contest this year.

Thule’s award wins span a range of its categories. In the nursery sector, the new car seats, Thule Elm and Thule Maple, as well as the car seat base Thule Alfi – all designed in collaboration with Modyn – were awarded.

A special recognition was made for the stroller Thule Urban Glide 3, which won an iF Gold Award. In 2024, just 75 entries out of 11,800 won this award.

The iF jury statement said: “Thule brings a unique and fresh perspective to the baby stroller. Durable, robust, and engineered to perfection, this design inspires trust, credibility, and convenience. It was designed with longevity in mind, growing with the family by seamlessly integrating new components as the child develops. The perfect stroller for active urban parents.”

Thule is in a phase of intensive product launches and development. The investment in research and development is unparalleled, as the company continues to push boundaries in design and functionality in the outdoor sector.

Last autumn, the commitment was underscored by hosting THEX – Thule Experience – an event which bought together brand ambassadors and over 600 guests and journalists. The runway show and exhibition showcased the brand and its future.

Rina Liselius, vp brand, Thule, commented: “We are absolutely thrilled to witness the Thule brand scaling new heights of recognition. This accomplishment not only sets a new record for Thule but also underscores the tireless dedication, creativity, and hard work of our team.

“Our journey has always been driven by a passion to develop products that are not just innovative but also resonate deeply with the needs and aspirations of our users. This recognition motivates us to continue pushing the boundaries of design and functionality.”

Henrik Eriksson, global director design, added: “This is a fantastic way to start the new year. In 2024, Thule launches more new products than ever before, and we even enter two new categories; child car seats and dog. The many awards are therefore great testaments to our commitment to product design.

“We believe that all products should be easy to use, of high quality and built to last – and we are happy to see that our philosophy resonates with others. We were awarded in several different product categories, something that clearly shows that there is a strong Thule design DNA in everything that we do.”
