The Puppet Company expands with new senior sales and marketing manager

The Puppet Company is continuing its rapid growth, welcoming Anup Dave as senior sales and marketing manager.

Bringing with him a wealth of diverse marketing experience across children’s toys and collectables, Anup (pictured) joins the company to further augment its innovative retail and consumer campaigns.

Drawing on his background working with a full range of retailers, partnerships and entertainment products, he will help to further expand the business which has seen substantial growth over the last 24 months.

“We are delighted to welcome Anup on board as we continue moving forwards,” commented Sam Lockey, the company’s sales director. “Anup joins our UK team, reporting to myself and marketing and product director Katy Rugman, as we implement our growth strategy across The Puppet Company and Wilberry Toys globally.

“In addition to his extensive experience, we were particularly impressed with his enthusiasm for our puppets and soft toys, especially our new Eco product ranges (made from 100% recycled plastic bottles), and look forward to working with him at this critical time.”

Prior to joining The Puppet Company, Anup was marketing manager at Topps where he worked with a range of brands including Star Wars, Moshi Monsters, Minions and Trolls, in addition to collaborations with partners such as News UK, Immediate Media and Kennedy Publishing.

2022 sees The Puppet Company celebrate its 21st anniversary, with a number of new ranges, product collections and plans for future expansion in the pipeline. Anup’s appointment also follows a number of additions at the company in recent months including new sales office and warehouse support to meet growing demand, as well as a number of internal promotions.
