The Baby Show returns to Manchester

The Baby Show with Lidl GB is returning to Manchester Central from Friday 7 until Sunday 9 June.

After its successful launch show in 2023, the event will be back offering visitors from across the north the chance to shop for everything they need for their little ones’ arrival – buggies or baby-grows, car seats or cots, muslins or must-have feeding equipment, the event will have everything under one roof.

Mallory Reynolds-Trout, show manager at The Baby Show with Lidl GB said: “Last year we launched the show in Manchester to huge crowds of new and expectant parents who travelled far and wide to shop for their impending arrivals – showing a huge appetite for more.

“The Baby Show is the biggest parenting event in the country, and we’re thrilled that it was such a big success in 2023 and this year it’ll be even bigger. We’ll have a buggy testing track, a stage where visitors can listen to expert advice, a baby feeding café and over 250 of exhibitors showcasing their latest products, along with some great offers.”

Exhibitors include the likes of MAM, Obaby, Venicci, iCandy, Cybex, Yorkshire Tea, Mamas & Papas, Maxi-Cosi and more.

There will be a New Kids on the Block area, giving start-ups and emerging businesses the opportunity to showcase their brand new and exciting boutique brands first-hand, such as MarBra, Baby Sensor, Ruffle + Romper and Bubble Tots

Parenting experts taking to the Live Talks Stage include Health and Fitness Expert Melinda Nicci, ceo of Baby2Body, Jenni Dunman from Daisy First Aid, Robert Titzer, infant researcher at The Infant Learning Company and Lucy Shrimpton, founder of The Sleep Nanny. The talks are free of charge, held across the three days and focus on the most important topics that affect new parents, such as sleep, feeding, child development, weaning, health and fitness and what to buy. Some famous names will also be sharing their top tips on becoming a mum or dad.

There will be an array of features at the show including the Lupilu Changing Area, sponsored by Lidl GB where visitors can try out complimentary, award-winning range of nappies and wipes. Other highlights include The Buggy Testing Track, where expectant parents can test their favourite strollers on different terrains, The Baby Feeding Café offers free baby food and the use of bottle warmers and microwaves, as well as an area for mothers who prefer to breastfeed in private.

Following the Manchester show, the next show will take place at Olympia London from 25 – 27 October.
