Team GB swimmer joins Splash About

Olympic Team GB swimmer, Jazz Carlin has joined Splash About as brand ambassador.

Baby and children’s swimwear innovator, Splash About has announced that double Olympic silver medallist, Jazz Carlin will partner with the company as a brand ambassador.

Jazz’s passion for making swimming accessible and a safe, positive experience especially for babies and young children, is a perfect fit for Splash About. The brand has been at the forefront of early years swimming for two decades, creating products that are innovative, safe and fun to enhance the water experience of families everywhere.

“Jazz is a fantastic addition to the Splash About family,” commented Lesley Beach, joint managing director at Splash About International. “We not only value the wealth of swimming expertise that Jazz brings and her strong commitment to early years swimming, but as a new mum she totally understands the challenges our customers face when taking their baby swimming.

“Jazz will be sharing her experiences, offering pool tips for parents with babies and young children, as well as putting our swim wear and accessories to the test – giving her opinion on the best investments for infant swimming – whether it’s for formal baby swim classes or family fun time at the leisure centre pool.”

Jazz said: “Swimming is a huge part of my life; but switching from swimming competitively to taking my 11-month-old son Max, to the pool has taken me on a completely different swimming journey.

“I’m excited to join Splash About as a brand ambassador because I strongly believe that early year’s swimming is vital; creating an encouraging, fun experience for babies and young children promotes confidence, teaches water safety and lays the foundation for a lifelong positive swim experience.”

Jazz competed at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio where she won silver medals in the 400m and 800m freestyle events, she is also a European and Commonwealth champion.

Although Jazz has now retired from competitive swimming, she will be working at the Paris 2024 Olympics (26 July – 11 August) debriefing the swimming trials for talkSPORT radio every night from 8-11pm. Baby Max will be accompanying mum to Paris, because for the first time the Olympic Village will have crèche facilities.
