Brand underlines evergreen status as it sees “impressive” YOY growth in a challenging market.
The Sylvanian Families brand is continuing to underline its evergreen status, with EPOCH making toys saying it has seen impressive YOY growth in a challenging market.
New launches further strengthening the brand this year have included the red roof houses range, which are updated and revamped versions of the brand’s iconic buildings.
In addition, the next season of the popular Baby Collectables (the outdoor series) has just arrived at retail. The Sylvanian Families Town range has also been extended this year with the Town Manor and Blooming Flower Shop, both of which have proved popular.
Further launches will be on display at Toy Fair at London’s Olympia in January 2020.
Yuki Otsuka, head of marketing at EPOCH making toys, told PreschoolNews.net: “Sylvanian Families has been performing very well this year. We’ve had impressive YoY growth in a challenging market, proving the brand’s evergreen status.
“The toy sector remains incredibly competitive, especially with the recent rise of trend collectibles and demand for surprise bags, so brands need to innovate constantly to maintain market share.”
Yuki continued: “For the preschool group, a good playset would be one that offers strong play value, with various elements and a range of play capabilities. Toys also need to embrace and encourage imaginative play, as this is a crucial stage in a child’s growth and development.”
