Spielwarenmesse unveils ‘Fit for Fair’ webinars for exhibitors

Company is also preparing to say farewell to Ernst Kick and Dr Hans-Juergen Richter as they step down from the executive board this month.

Spielwarenmesse has unveiled a new ‘Fit for Fair’ webinar series to support exhibitors’ planning for the return of the show next year.

The webinars – which will begin from 9 June – will aim to give both first time and established exhibitors valuable advice on presenting products and innovations, as well as on networking with retailers and buyers.

The live webinars will last around 45 minutes and will be offered in English and German.

Participating companies will have access to topics such as the Hygiene Concept at Spielwarenmesse 2022, special areas at the show, visitor marketing and the supporting programme, plus the new Spielwarenmesse Digital platform.

There will also be a webinar specifically designed for newcomers which will cover the fundamentals of showing at the fair for the first time.

Companies wishing to show at the Spielwarenmesse for the first time can register at www.spielwarenmesse.de/en/application until 31 July 2021.

Meanwhile, having spent the last two decades steering the fortunes of Spielwarenmesse eG, ceo Ernst Kick and Dr Hans-Juergen Richter will be stepping down from the executive board at the end of June.

Christian Ulrich, Florian Hess and Jens Pflüger will be taking over the helm of Spielwarenmesse eG on 1 July.

Ernst commented: “Dr. Richter and I are very confident that the new three-member board will steer Spielwarenmesse eG into a successful future, building on its role as a driving force within the industry – we firmly believe in the continued need for and benefits of trade fairs.”

Spielwarenmesse 2022 is due to take place in Nuremberg from 2-6 February, 2022.
