Magnetic scavenger hunt game praised for ‘developing observation and recognition skills’.
Magnetic scavenger hunt game, Seekers, has been endorsed by the Good Toy Guide and Fundamentally Children.
The game – which is aimed at ages 3+ – was praised for ‘developing observation and recognition skills’ and ‘creativity and communication’.
The Seekers starter pack includes a waterproof magnetic board, a drawstring backpack and a small bag for the magnets. Additional magnet sets can then be added on – including the likes of Car Journey, Happy Campers, Beside the Seaside, Supermarket, At the Park, Shapes and Colours and Christmas, with more due to launch shortly – with each including 12 magnets and a drawstring bag.
For younger children, the idea behind the game is to simply search for the objects displayed on the magnets, turning them over once they have been found.
Julia Power, co-director at Seekers, said: “We are thrilled that Seekers has been recommended by the experts at the Good Toy Guide, with a fantastic review score of 14/15.
“We’ve known from our feedback from both customers and retailers that our products are being very well received, but the endorsement from Fundamentally Children rubber-stamps our customer testimonials.”
Dr Amanda Gummer, founder and ceo of Fundamentally Children, added: “We’re looking forward to continuing to support [Seekers] development and watch them grow with a fantastic product that provides great play value.”
