Sambro is donating a range of toys to Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital to raise the spirits of young patients during the festive season.
Working with brands including Disney, Paramount and Hasbro, Sambro will be sharing a selection of its portfolio with the kids including arts and crafts, Felties, Barbie fashion creative toys and more, in the form of key characters like PAW Patrol, Peppa Pig and the Disney Princesses.
Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity exists to enhance the experience of the 280,000+ children cared for by the hospital every year and the charity supports excellence in treatment, research and care the hospital provides to its young patients.
“Giving back is important to us at Sambro, particularly when it comes to our local Greater Manchester community,” commented Paul Blackaby, ceo at Sambro. “Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital is such a worthy cause and we’re honoured to be able to offer some happiness this Christmas with our toys hopefully bringing a smile to a child’s face.
“At Sambro we’re always looking for ways to give back to the local community, and we hope this donation makes the festive period a little more special for the kids in hospital this Christmas.”
Jack Bright, relationship manager at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity, added: “Sambro’s generous gift will mean the world to children spending the festive season in our children’s hospital. All the staff at Sambro should be proud that their thoughtful gesture will be making children smile and give them a little pick-me-up at what can be an emotional and difficult time.”
