Rockit has donated a selection of its award winning sleep aids to a London children’s hospital.
Having been contacted by a customer who had used the Zed and Rockit while his baby was in hospital, the team at Rockit decided to support other children in a similar situation by donating some of the sleep aid to the hospital.
Rockit attaches to any stroller or pram to rock the baby and give parents a well-earned rest. As it is battery powered fully portable and lasts for up to 60 hours, with a quiet motor, the aid is ideal for use in hospital environments.
Meanwhile, Zed is placed on the cot mattress near the baby’s feet, and mimics the sensation of being in a car to help little ones get to sleep. The device can also be used as a nightlight, perfect for night feeds. Also battery powered, Zed is fully portable and can be used with moses baskets and feeding pillows too.
Matt Dyson, Rockit co-founder, commented: “One of our customers contacted us to say that their child had been very ill in The Evelina Children’s Hospital in London. During his stay the dad had used a Zed and Rockit to calm his son and help him to sleep.
“Apparently, the staff were really impressed, so we sent them a box of Zeds and Rockits to help other patients and their parents. NHS staff do an amazing job and we are in awe of their dedication and selflessness, especially during the pandemic.”
