Pura launches in Morrisons

Consumers can now pick up Pura’s range of affordable, allergy-friendly and eco-friendly wipes, nappies and nappy pants in Morrisons.

The brand’s nappies sized 1-4, nappy pants sized 5-7 and plant-based baby wipes, flushable and non-flushable, will be rolled out in Morrisons stores nationwide and online this month.

Pura, a Cheshire-based family business, has experienced rapid growth since its 2020 launch – driven by the quality of its products and environmental credentials.

Pura’s plant-based wipes are plastic-free, biodegradable and accredited by both the British Skin Foundation and Allergy UK. The brand’s award-winning, sustainably made nappy range is enhanced with organic cotton, totally chlorine free and comes in recyclable paper packaging. Pura also recycles nappies via its Pura NappiCycle partnership.

To celebrate the launch, Pura is also running a competition entitled I Spy The Nappy Guy in select Morrisons stores nationwide in September. This will involve shoppers seeking out special cards on nappy packs and in some cases the chance to spot Pura founder Guy Fennell himself, to win prizes.

Pura founder and ceo Guy Fennell said: “We’re delighted to be launching into Morrisons thereby giving even more parents easy access to high quality but affordable, allergy friendly wipes and nappies that are also more sustainable.

“We know that, like Pura, Morrisons is committed to making life easier for parents with fantastic initiatives such as Child Friendly checkouts. We hope that the addition of the Pura range will give parents even more reasons to shop at Morrisons.”

Andrew Benn, buying manager at Morrisons added: “We know how important this area is for customers and so we’re really excited to be growing our sustainable range – offering even more choice for parents and care givers in store.”
