With Tuesday 14 November fast approaching, the final touches for the Progressive Preschool Awards 2023 are being put in place – with the host of the event being confirmed.
Irish comedian and writer, Jarlath Regan (pictured) will take charge of the afternoon’s proceedings at the Royal Lancaster London later this month.
Jarlath has been performing stand up for over ten years. A finalist in both the BBC and Channel 4 New Comedy Awards, Jarlath also took home the title of Man of the Year in Comedy in Irish Tatler’s Men of the Year Awards 2017.
In addition to performing in front of sold out audiences worldwide, Jarlath has starred on some of the nation’s favourite entertainment shows including Tonight at the Palladium, Russell Howard’s Good News and Stand Up Central to name a few.
Outside of stand-up, Jarlath is the creator and host of chart-topping podcast An Irishman Abroad which is streamed by more than a million listeners worldwide. He invites some of Ireland’s most famous exports to talk about their experiences in the UK, with past guests including the likes of Sir Bob Geldof, Dara O Briain and the late Sir Terry Wogan.
