The biggest event in the preschool sector will be taking place tonight, with the winners of the Progressive Preschool Awards 2020 announced live in a special virtual ceremony, complete with guest speaker, welcome speeches and the all-important golden envelopes.
This year will see the awards taking place online as a result of the current Covid-19 restrictions, which will allow retailers, suppliers, distributors and everyone else within the preschool industry to log in, support the industry and join in the fun for free, regardless of their physical location. If there’s a better reason to enjoy a drink and some nibbles on a Thursday night, we can’t think of it!
The event is completely free to attend, so if you haven’t yet registered yet there’s still plenty of time to do so. This evening’s proceedings will be starting at 6.15pm via Hopin – an interactive online awards platform which will allow guests to network, chat between themselves and catch up with industry friends in the Session Rooms, in addition to watching the awards ceremony itself, which will kick off just after 7pm.
Click here to register now – it takes just two seconds and we will even send you a reminder for tonight’s proceedings.
Thanks to the all-digital nature of this year’s awards, there are no restrictions on numbers and more guests have already registered than can usually attend the physical event at The Grosvenor Hotel in London, including a number of major retail names from John Lewis, Tesco, The Entertainer and more.
Getting the evening off to a strong start will be an exclusive interview with Fran Bishop – star of The Apprentice and founder of The Pud Store – who will be sharing her story, revealing why retail is her passion and discussing the future of the high street.
In addition to the traditional opening speeches, Alan Dedicoat – the famous ‘voice of the balls’ and Strictly Come Dancing – will also be taking us through the evening as the official finalists’ announcer. The evening will be replicating the traditional awards programme as closely as possible, even including the all-important ‘gold envelope moment’, with sponsors announcing the winners of each category.

Sponsorship and support for this year’s event has come from a wide range of companies who are proud to get behind this year’s finalists and winners. They will be joining in with tonight’s celebrations via the Session Rooms which will be open both before and after the ceremony, offering the perfect opportunity to catch up with industry friends, congratulate winners and make new connections.
