A number of companies from the nursery and preschool sector – including Nuna, Galt Toys, BRIO and My 1st Years – are celebrating nominations for this month’s Brand & Lifestyle Licensing Awards 2025.
The B&LLAs – which celebrates the achievements of the dynamic brand licensing sector – takes place on Thursday 24 April, with a lunchtime event at the Royal Lancaster London.
Galt Toys has been nominated in two categories for its collaboration with the Natural History Museum – it’s Natural History Museum Let’s Learn STEAM Kits are shortlisted in Best Brand Licensed Children’s Product or Range and The Sustainability Brand Licensed Range Award.
Nuna is flying the flag for the nursery brands, with its collaboration with Liberty for the Fantasy Land collection being recognised, while BRIO‘s tie up with Transport for London has also been given a nod.
Poetic Brands’ Sophie la girafe collection for Boots is also in the running for the Best Brand Licensed Children’s Product or Range, alongside Red Toolbox‘s Goodyear toy range.
Meanwhile, My 1st Years’ nomination for its Natural History Museum personalised preschool childrenswear is joined by a second nod in the new Radar Award in the retail categories. The accolade is for retailers which have come onto the brand and lifestyle licensing radar, considerably upping their licensing activity during 2024.
