Following the success of its first Moomin collection last autumn, PO.P has unveiled the second part of its design collaboration with the much-loved Finnish brand, created in celebration of Moomin’s 80th anniversary in 2025.
PO.P’s spring/summer Moomin collection represents a new chapter in the collaboration, with the brand having been granted the right to use Tove Jansson’s popular characters in colour on its children’s clothing. Spanning three categories – playwear, nightwear and UV swimwear – the latest drop is bright, eye-catching and colourful, with pieces adorned with illustrations from Tove Jansson’s Moomin stories, as well as unique new ‘Moomin Play’ artworks featuring Moomins coloured in blue, pink and yellow.
The matching nightwear for babies, children and adults allows the whole family to join in with the Moomin fun, with the stylish bathrobes – which sold out almost immediately following the first release – expected to be a firm favourite.
The UV swimwear injects a bright pop of colour into pool playdays and summer getaways, and features all-over Moomin prints. Including swim tops, shorts, a swimsuit and a swim nappy, the collection offers a high level of UV protection, with UPF50 blocking 98% of the sun’s harmful rays to ensure little ones stay sun-safe this summer.
