Brand attending both weekends for the first time as it continues to support retailers by reaching new audiences.
Playmobil is continuing in its mission to support retailers and reach new audiences – attending both weekends of CarFest 2019.
The festival – which is the brainchild of radio presenter Chris Evans, launching seven years ago to raise funds for UK children’s charities – welcomes more than 100,000 visitors across its North and South weekends.
The first took place last weekend (July 26-28) at Bolesworth in Cheshire. The second weekend will take place at Laverstoke Park Farm in Hampshire on August 23-25.
Across both weekends, Playmobil will showcase costume characters, life-size figures and play tables featuring the new Playmobile: The Movie play-sets. Attendance at the festival is part of the company’s ongoing strategy to engage directly with key audiences and provides the brand opportunity to share more about the movie.
“This is our first year attending CarFest and, with Playmobil: The Movie coming out around the same time, there will be a lot of excitement surrounding the brand,” said Jamie Dickinson, marketing and display manager at Playmobil UK. “The festival will provide opportunity for fans to meet the characters and experience the new play-sets first-hand, as well as keep families entertained over the weekend.
“Playmobil is experiencing significant growth and we are expanding our wider entertainment offer to support retailers in reaching new audiences.
“We love taking the chance to share all the amazing things we’re doing and CarFest will allow us to do just that.”
