eOne unveils raft of new free-to-air broadcast partners for hit preschool show.
The hit preschool show PJ Masks is expanding its global broadcast reach, with eOne confirming it has secured a number of new free-to-air partners in multiple territories.
The 52 x 11min episodes from series one are poised to debut on TVCultura in Brazil and RTL Kockica in Croatia from spring. In Denmark, DR Ramasjang is now on board and will begin airing the show from summer.
These latest partners join an impressive line-up of broadcasters, which in addition to co-production partners Disney Junior and France 5 (France), includes Tiny Pop (UK), ABC Kids (Australia), RAI (Italy) Televisa (Mexico) and YoYo TV (Taiwan).
The first episodes from season two have recently premiered in the US and eOne is now gearing up to roll out the new season to the rest of the world from late February/early March.
eOne has also recently announced that a third series of PJ Masks is currently in production.
In terms of consumer products, eOne began rolling out the PJ Masks global programme last year, spearheaded by Just Play’s master toy line.
Monica Candiani, eOne’s evp content sales, Family & Brands said: “We’re delighted to be increasing the global broadcast reach of PJ Masks and giving even more budding young heroes the opportunity to enjoy the adventures of Catboy, Owlette and Gekko.
“The expanding list of broadcast partners now on board is testament to the show’s universal appeal and soaring popularity around the world.”
