Peppa Pig, PAW Patrol among brands starring in Tesco toy sale

A number of familiar preschool names are featuring in Tesco’s latest up to half price toy sale, which began on Monday 3 October.

All toys in the sale will be discounted by 40 to 50% with some costing as little as £7.50 when bought with a Tesco Clubcard.

Among the star attractions in the sale will be deals on the Squishmallow 14-inch assortment (down from £23 to £11.50), plus the LEGO Friends Value Pack (down from £40 to £24).

With plush having been growing in demand for Tesco this year, the retailer will also be including the likes of Peppa Pig, Hey Duggee and Squishmallows offerings.

Other brands featured in the sale will include LEGO, Barbie, Disney, PAW Patrol, Hot Wheels, Pokémon, DC Batman, Marvel Avengers and Funkopop.

“We know that with the cost of living squeeze Christmas can be quite a strain on the wallet – especially for families with more than one child – so we want to make it easier for them to spread the cost of buying presents,” commented Anne Borrett, toy category manager at Tesco. “We’ve chosen some of the most popular and latest toys for children of all ages for the sale, with big name brands such as LEGO, Hot Wheels, Barbie, Peppa Pig and PAW Patrol – all at up to half price.”

The sale will run for one month until 2 November in up to 260 Tesco stores.
