Orchard Toys welcomes Bluey as second character licence

Orchard Toys has grown its licensed offering with the addition of preschool hit, Bluey.

The company will showcase three Bluey games at this week’s London Toy Fair (21-23 January at Olympia) based on some of the most popular episodes of the show.

The new range includes Grannies Game, Shopping List Game and Fancy Restaurant Game, all aimed at ages 3+.

Based on the Grannies episode, Bluey Grannies Game sees players race to collect granny gear, call Nana and kick off a flossing party; Bluey Shopping List Game is inspired by Orchard Toys’ best-selling title and sees Bluey, Bingo, Bandit and Chilli racing to find items on their shopping lists to fill their trollies; while Bluey Fancy Restaurant Game sees players join Bluey and Bingo as their help dad prepare a romantic dinner for mum and dad’s date night, with the game designed to develop matching and memory skills and encourage imaginative role-play.

The range is presented in a new box size and format for Orchard Toys, differentiating the collection from the brand portfolio, and giving it great stand-out on shelf.

“This collection is a must-have for Bluey fans and retailers,” commented Simon Prest, sales director at Orchard Toys. “With Bluey currently ranking as the number two property in preschool toys, our new games are the perfect addition to any toy range. Combining the beloved Bluey brand with Orchard Toys educational and fun interactive play, that children and parents love, is sure to be a winner.”
