The retail categories are open now for entries for this year’s celebration of the preschool industry, the Progressive Preschool Awards 2019.
The trade awards for the toy, nursery and preschool product and retail sector are now in their seventh year. Considered to be a benchmark of excellence throughout the industry; the awards recognise and reward excellence in product, retailing and marketing throughout the preschool sector.
“The retail awards give suppliers and other members of the preschool industry the opportunity to shine a spotlight on those retailers who have gone above and beyond the call of duty over the last 12 months,” said Rob Willis, publishing director of Progressive Preschool.
“In the current retail climate that could mean any number of things, from high-profile promotions and faultless communication to outstanding customer service or charity initiatives. We want to make this year’s event the best yet, so please do get entering!”
If you’re a retailer and are proud of your performance in the preschool space over the past year, or you are a supplier who has seen the extra efforts your retailers have put in to driving the category forward, there is plenty of time to submit your nominations, as all submissions must be received by Wednesday 31 July, 2019.
Nominating a retailer for the awards is straightforward and completely free – just complete this simple form and send it into us. All nominees will be discussed at a carefully selected retail validation panel made up of a number of top-level executives from across the entire preschool spectrum.

- Best Department Store Retailer of Preschool Products
- Best Online Retailer of Preschool Products
- Best Preschool Retail Initiative
- Best Independent Nursery Retailer
- Best Independent Apparel Retailer
- Best Independent Toy Retailer
- Best Independent Giftware Retailer
Winners will be announced at a lavish event at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Tuesday 5 November, surrounded by over 400 suppliers, retailers and industry pioneers.
