New branded kids’ experiential tourism franchise will feature key preschool properties.
A new Nickelodeon-branded experiential tourism franchise is coming to Malta in 2019.
Nickelodeon Treasure Hunt Malta will launch in April 2019 and aims to leverage the global power of the Nickelodeon brand, network and characters to drive awareness of and visits to Malta’s family friendly attractions during off-peak months.
It is based around creating exclusive Nickelodeon experiences and rewards at select attractions and will build upon the success of the annual Isle of MTV Malta live music event.
Activity packs distributed via Malta Tourism Authority, at locations including the international airport and tourist information centres, will give kids a chance to learn more about their favourite Nickelodeon characters and the island at the same time.
Hit preschool brands PAW Patrol and Nella the Princess Knight will feature in the activities, alongside older brands such as SpongeBob Squarepants and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Stamps collected at each attraction will be able to be redeemed for Nickelodeon prizes. The packs will also be available on Air Malta flights and the island’s national carrier has even unveiled a bespoke branded jet wrapped in Nickelodeon livery as part of the promotion of the deal.
