Preschool brands including Blue’s Clues and PAW Patrol feature in new global prosocial initiative.
Nickelodeon has launched #KidsTogether, a new global multi-platform prosocial initiative, using its most popular characters and talent to engage with kids and families with tips for staying healthy and ideas for activities to do at home.
Brands and characters including Blue’s Clues & You, Bubble Guppies and SpongeBob SquarePants will appear in original short-form videos, interstitials, downloadable activities and social content, with elements aggregated for easy access on a central online destination, NickHelps.com.
Content includes the PAW Patrol pups showcasing some dance moves to promote physical activity and wellness; Bubble Guppies demonstrating proper handwashing techniques and SpongeBob practicing social distancing.
There are also printable Blue’s Clues & You activity sheets and Bubble Guppies colouring pages, plus offscreen activities and games to help families play and learn together at home.
Noggin – Nickelodeon’s direct to consumer interactive learning service for preschoolers in the US – will also be offered for free for three months starting this week to millions of kids in need through the help of partner organisations such as National Head Start Association and First Book.
The ad-free educational content on Noggin currently includes over 1,000 iconic, full-length episodes, short-form videos, plus hundreds of interactive learning games and ebooks featuring preschoolers’ favourite characters and more.
#KidsTogether has already rolled out in the US across Nickelodeon’s portfolio of platforms and will be extended to international markets.
