My 1st Years launches bricks and mortar store

The first physical store for the preschool brand has opened in Manchester’s Trafford Centre, offering personalisation of items while customers wait.

My 1st Years’ first physical store is a concession inside Selfridges, offering its range of children’s gifts and clothing, which can all be personalised on-site.

The stitching machine takes pride of place within the concession, where staff can add baby’s names to all of the items on offer. Customers who are buying for expectant parents are given the option of bringing the item back to store to add a birth date once the newborn has arrived.

The age range in-store is from newborn to 4-5, while a wider range of ages is available online.

For the opening period, My 1st Years is offering to pack items in a free gift box for purchases over £40, the Manchester Evening News has reported.
