Breastfeeding brand Medela has been voted most the popular breastpump manufacturer, according to consumer watchdog Which?, with more than a third of mums choosing a Medela pump.
In a survey conducted by the leading independent consumer organisation Which?, more than 1,000 mums were asked which breastpump brand they owned or had used most recently. With 36% share of the popular vote Medela came out on top against eight other brands, with Tommee Tippee (28%) and Avent (16%) coming in second and third.
This announcement followed the news that Medela has also excelled in Which?’s most recent breast pump review, which was revealed earlier this year when the Swing Single Electric Breast Pump was awarded a best buy and came out joint winner.
“We are so pleased to see Medela was not only voted as the best breast pump brand, but also recognised for its product excellence,” said Medela UK’s education manager and in-house lactation consultant, Sioned Hilton. “Learning that the Swing Single Electric Pump maintained its position as the Which? Best Buy breast pump was just brilliant. We know that a good breast pump can make all the difference when expressing so it is great to hear we are still leading the way. We are extremely proud that Medela continue to be a trusted breastfeeding brand for parents.”
As one of the most trusted review platforms, with over 60 years of experience product testing, parents rely on Which? when making their purchasing choices making this double news a great achievement.
