Lilybuds animation set to bloom across Europe

Zodiak Kids preschool show sold into Europe, Middle East, North Africa and Canada.

Zodiak Kids is expanding its new Lilybuds preschool animated series, securing broadcast deals in Europe, the Middle East, North Africa and Canada.

The series – for which Zodiak Kids owns worldwide distribution and licensing rights – follows the adventures of a community of tiny magical gardeners known as Lilybuds.

The series launched on FTV’s France 5 in the Les Zouzous programming block last weekend, but it also due to launch in other territories.

Discovery MENA has acquired Lilybuds broadcast rights for its territories. In Europe, the magical gardeners will be shown on Canal Panda in Portugal, DeAJunior in Italy and RTS for french speaking Switzerland.

Meanwhile, Canadian channel Knowledge has also pre-bought Lilybuds for broadcast later this year.

Zodiak Kids recently appointed European licensing partners Biplano as licensing agent in Italy and Spain, alongside Sagoo for France.
