New launch featuring popular characters is based on the company’s top selling MathLink Cubes.
Learning Resources has unveiled a new special edition of its top selling MathLink Cubes featuring the Numberblocks.
The educational toys company has released the MathLink Cubes Numberblocks 1-10 Activity Set, which allows children to play along with the Numberblocks episodes and engage in maths learning through play.
The set contains all children from the age of three need to build the Numberblocks characters One to Ten in all forms seen during episodes.
The 251-piece set includes 100 Numberblocks MathLink Cubes, Numberlings, Character Cards, double-sided write and wipe Activity Cards, stickers and a Supporting Activity Guide. Children use MathLink Cubes to build the characters, get to know more about them using the Character Cards, and follow the 30 maths activities created to complement the episodes.
The set aims to help children to master early maths skills such as counting, sequencing, addition, subtraction, number recognition and problem solving.
“MathLink Cubes have been an integral part of Numberblocks right from the very beginning – we’ve used them to discover what every Numberblocks character can do, to plan stories and to design intricate animation sequences,” commented Joe Elliot, creator of the Numberblocks TV series. “The number one thing our dedicated following of young number fans ask for is real Numberblocks so they can get hands-on and play with Numberblocks themselves, so it’s been great fun working with the creative team at Learning Resources to develop this new Numberblocks MathLink Cubes set.”
