Kind + Jugend prepares for 2019 show

More than 1,200 suppliers and distributors from more than 50 countries will be showcasing the latest trends, fashions and products available for the baby and toddler years.

Taking place in Cologne from 19 – 22 September 2019, Kind + Jugend offers a focus on quality, innovation and sustainability, making it the most important international business and communication platform for the baby and preschool industry.

More than 85% of exhibitors have travelled to the show from across Europe, the USA, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea and Australia, making the show’s reach truly international. More than 75% of all visitors are also international, representing over 125 different countries.

Kind + Jugend is also offering the manufacturers of textiles a special listing service for the first time this year. This year’s event programme at Kind + Jugend will see award ceremonies, special events and expert-led seminars playing a central role for considering trends.

A new start-up area will be making its debut at this year’s show, giving 16 new and up-and-coming suppliers from six different countries the opportunity to present themselves to the international preschool trade community. Products range from a sustainable diaper system through to digital measuring devices.

Sustainability and environmental awareness are also key for this year’s show and Kind + Jugend will be creating a dedicated listing which will highlight exhibitors and manufacturers showcasing certifiably sustainable products.
