The pre-loved kidswear consignment has partnered with Galeries Lafayette Doha, marking its first international location.
The 40sqm space at Galeries Lafayette’s flagship store in Doha, Qatar, is located in the childrenswear department and caters for children from newborn to 14 years.
Shoshana Kazab, Kidswear Collective’s founder, commented: “Since launching, we have had incredible support from our customers in the Middle East, which is why we are particularly delighted to bring the Kidswear Collective concept to the region, especially with such a prestigious brand partner as Galeries Lafayette Doha.”
Kevin Gerard Pender, general manager of Galeries Lafayette Doha, continued: “We have been keen to introduce pre-loved baby and kids fashion to our customers for some time now and are excited to see this category evolve.
“Children wear their clothes for such a short time, so it makes sense to re-sell them. With their expertise in sourcing high quality, luxury garments and successfully bringing the re-sale experience into department stores, Kidswear Collective is the perfect partner for us.”
Shoshana added: “What with the World Cup just around the corner, all eyes are on Doha, which makes it an even more exciting time for us to be working with Galeries Lafayette Doha.”
The new space will comprise one-of-a-kind pieces sourced exclusively for the store from many brands including Gucci, Fendi, Baby Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, Il Gufo, Burberry, Moncler and more. The space will see new one-off pieces arriving regularly to ensure customers will always have something to discover when visiting the store.
