Just two days left to enter PPS Awards 2020!

The entry and nominations deadline for the product categories for this year’s Progressive Preschool Awards is Friday 14 August, giving suppliers just two days to send in their entries and nominations.

Preschool companies are urged to submit their products if they haven’t already, as all entries must be received by Friday 14 August in order to be considered for this year’s event, which will be taking place on Tuesday 3 November.

The awards are free to enter, with an online entry portal making it easier and quicker than ever for suppliers to submit their favourite products and ranges – simply register, fill out the online form and press submit. The product simply needs to have launched at retail between July 2019 and July 2020.

With over 1,350 products already entered, this year’s judges will be choosing the best preschool product from across all ten categories.

Judged by an exclusively curated panel of independent retailers and major buyers, the PPSA product judging process offers a valuable opportunity to be seen by key retail names – a crucial factor this year, following the cancellation of a number of key trade events.

The last few months have seen the preschool industry responding quickly and decisively to the challenges faced by the current situation, depsite the significant effect it has had on business,” said Rob Willis, director at Max Publishing, which owns and organises the Progressive Preschool Awards. “We are honoured to be part of this industry and while we would never compromise anyone’s safety, we are still hoping to be able to come together and celebrate the achievements and recognise the outstanding efforts of the preschool sector over the past year.”

“We are monitoring the government guidelines carefully and have a number of contingency plans,” he added, “but whatever happens, there will be finalists and there will still be winners, so please do make the most of these last two days and keep the entries coming in.”

If you are a preschool, nursery, toy or gift retailer or buyer from anywhere in the UK and you would like to get involved and be part of the extended PPS Judging Panel for this year’s online judging process, please contact Jo Pilcher for more information.
