The new collection has been created in collaboration with a teacher and is ideal to support the development of key skills.
Designed to incorporate learning at home, the FSC certified toys include Finding your Bearings in Space – Cat and Mouse, which helps build vocabularly and spatial awareness, and Algorithms Frog Game, which develops logic and maths skills. Both are suitable from three years.
Finding Your Bearings in Space can be played alone or with an adult, helping to build spatial awareness as children understand different reference points, observation skills and enrich their vocabulary.
Featuring three wooden mice, a wedge of cheese and a cat, little ones have to recreate a scene indicated on one of the 12 double sided cards, while using the associated vocabulary.
The Algorithms Frog Game features a frog and 36 flies. Before the frog can eat dinner, little ones have to work out the correct order to follow for him to digest them correctly. Using logical sequences, maths and visual skills, children have to work out the correct series of colours indicated on one of the 12 double sided sequence cards included.
A spokesperson from Janod said: “We are so pleased to launch our educational games, providing fun for families whilst developing key skills in the process. Parents will be pleased their little ones can continue the learning outside the classroom with the fun games, the perfect accompaniment to any schooling routine.”
