ITV’s littleBe block adds preschool content

Channel’s new preschool block goes live with shows including Pip Ahoy!

ITV has this week launched its new preschool block – with littleBe airing on ITVBe from 9am to midday each weekday.

ITV confirmed that it would be launching the new preschool block during the Children’s Media Conference in July, with ITVBe tending to attract an audience of young female viewers and stay at home parents.

Initial programmes will include BabyRiki, Engie Benjy, Florrie’s Dragons, The Hive, Oddbods, Pip Ahoy! and The Sooty Show.

Jenny Johnstone, commercial director at CHF Media Group which owns Pip Ahoy!, commented: “We are thrilled to announce not only the launch of 26 brand new episodes of Pip Ahoy! but also a brand new home for the show and all 78 episodes with littleBe.

“The channels audience demographic makes it a perfect fit for Pip Ahoy! and we very much look forward to being part of the littleBe family.”
