IndyBest puts running buggies through their paces

The Independent’s product testing platform has ranked pushchairs designed for jogging.

The IndyBest testing panel took each buggy for a 5km jog on tarmac and groomed dirt trails. The products were tested for manoeuvrability, ease of setup, comfort for the child and the build, including tough tyres.

Buggies were also tested for loading and unloading each buggy into a car boot and storing them at home.

The IndyBest best running buggies for 2024 are:

Best running buggy overall – Baby Jogger summit X3 jogging stroller

Best budget running buggy – Hauck runner

Best quality running buggy – Thule urban glide 2

Best double running buggy – Out n About nipper double V4

Best multisport buggy – Cybex zeno
