In the Night Garden Live hits 1 million visitors

Magic number hit after nine years as popular show kicks off new Showdome tour.

DHX Brands is celebrating hitting one million visitors to the In the Night Garden Live show.

The event – which has been running for nine years – welcomed its one-millionth customer to the Showdome at The O2 in London on Monday May 28.

The milestone coincides with the family entertainment experience returning to the stage this summer. In the Night Garden Live takes place in its own all-weather, purpose-built inflatable Showdome with many family-friendly facilities.

The Showdome tour started on Thursday May 24 at The O2 in London, playing for two weeks, before visiting Richmond Old Deer Park (June 16 to July 1), Birmingham Cannon Hill Park (July 7-22) and the intu Trafford Centre Manchester (July 28 to August 19).

“We are extremely excited to have welcomed our one millionth visitor to In the Night Garden Live this summer,” said Danielle Tanton, global live events manager at DHX Brands. “It is testament to this enchanting show that over one million little fans and their loved ones have visited the Showdome since it began its first tour nine years ago.

“Not many children’s shows can tour every year for nine consecutive years, which shows the incredible appetite for In the Night Garden.”
