IHDI awards Close hip-healthy status

The International Hip Dysplasia Institute (HDHI) has awarded Close the prestigious hip-healthy status for its Caboo carrier.

The full range of Caboo newborn carriers (Caboo +organic, Caboo +cotton blend, Caboo lite and Caboo dx+) have been acknowledged as ‘hip healthy’ products by the IHDI – an international organisation which raises awareness and research funds for infant and child hip dysplasia.

In awarding this merit, the IHDI has officially recognised that Close has developed products which are created in line with best practise for healthy hip development during infancy. This is especially important during the early stages of hip development in the first few months after birth.

“We are thrilled to have been awarded this status by the IHDI, providing the optimum positioning and support for babies from birth and beyond is at the forefront of every Caboo carrier we design,” said Hester MacAnara, business development director at Close.
