Free exhibition will return in December after success with four-day showing over the weekend.
BBC Studios and Design Museum have extended their partnership following a successful weekend with the exhibition celebrating the success and design behind preschool hit, Hey Duggee.
The Designing Duggee exhibition took place from October 25-28 and allowed fans to explore the design story behind the brand, discovering how the characters were made and finding out what made each episode interesting and appealing to the audience.
The free exhibition will now return to the museum between Saturday December 28 and Monday January 6.
Saturday December 28 will also see the launch of a new workshop experience at Design Museum. The ‘Design Workshop with Hey Duggee’ is the perfect occasion for children to get creative and earn their Design Badge.
“We’re thrilled to be working with the Design Museum on such a fun, exciting and unique exhibition,” said Laura Connor, global brand manager children’s at BBC Studios. “Hey Duggee has become a much-loved brand and this fantastic collaboration will allow fans both little and big to explore the design, animation and production process behind Duggee and the squirrels.”
Grant Orchard, creator of Hey Duggee at Studio AKA, added: “The exhibition offers our creative fans a chance to explore the design secrets behind Hey Duggee’s success, and I hope that it will inspire children to pick up a pencil and get sketching too.”
