Hey Duggee season two has won the Preschool Award at the International Emmy Kids Kids – topping the category for the second time.
The awards are held every year in recognition of the best children’s TV, with categories including Preschool, Animation, Digital, Factual and Non-Scripted.
“Hey Duggee has been a huge success around the world and we’re thrilled to see the series receive international recognition from Emmy,” said Henrietta Hurford-Jones, executive producer of Hey Duggee at BBC Studios. “Since first winning this award in 2017 Hey Duggee has continued to inspire children everywhere, and it’s a real privilege to be awarded again this year.”
Sue Goffe, executive producer at Studio AKA, added: “How thrilling to have another Emmy win for Hey Duggee – we’re so pleased to see the show recognised in this category again.
“It’s a reflection of the wonderful work of our team, and the creativity and combined efforts of so many.”
Hey Duggee consistently ranks as one of the top three programmes on CBeebies. In addition, it has an impressive global footprint in over 150 territories, with more than 634 million minutes of YouTube watch time.
