Harrogate to give indies an extra share of the market

In the current retail climate, there are huge opportunities for independent retailers to maximise sales and grab an extra slice of the baby products market as Harrogate International Nursery Fair allows them to source exciting new products and tempt customers into their stores.

With exhibitors and visitors all making their final plans for the trip to Harrogate International Nursery Fair this weekend, the show will be opening its doors from 25 – 27 March, as the only UK trade show for the nursery industry and will be playing host to over 100 brands this year, over 30 of which will be exhibiting for the very first time.

Held in the central Harrogate Convention Centre, the show will also showcase the latest products from returning favourites such as BabyStyle, Bebecar UK, Boori, Cosatto, Hauck Group, Joie, OBaby, Peg Perego and Red Kite Baby – to name just a few!

“New parents are always looking for baby products that are exciting and a little bit different and this is a prime economic time for independent retailers to stand out and make a statement,” said show organiser Adrian Sneyd.

“Harrogate has over 30 brand new companies exhibiting with never seen before products this year,” he continued, “plus, many well-known brands are launching fresh ranges and new products for 2018. Where else can you source so many up-to-the-minute items all in one place? And imagine the impact that these will have when new mums see an array on shop shelves!”

Unlike consumer baby shows, where retailers are competing for exhibitors’ attention with parents looking for a bargain; Harrogate offers a professional, one-stop-shop where retailers and suppliers can connect and discuss business. A plethora of exclusive show offers will also be available, ranging from discounts to prize draws.
