A statement from the Harrogate International Nursery Show organisers revealed that the team is ‘back on track’ for October show, following the latest government announcements regarding business events and conferences.
The announcement came from the government last week, saying that: ‘Business events and conferences will be permitted to resume from 1 October, provided rates of infection remain at current levels.‘
Visitors will need to adhere to social distancing measures, while official guidance is being issued to help event organisers, venue operators and participants understand how they can host business events and conferences while keeping both their guests and staff safe.
The statement from the HINF team read:
“Following the government’s announcement that business events and conferences will be able to resume in the UK from 1st October 2020, Harrogate International Nursery Show is back on track to deliver an October show as planned and will advise the industry of further details as soon as possible.”
The news has been welcomed across the industry, with David Abbott, global head of brand at Silver Cross, saying:
“We’re thrilled to hear that the Harrogate Nursery Fair will go ahead in October and hope to see as many people as possible there.”
