Baby sleep experts at The Gro Company have joined forces with Millpond Sleep Clinic ’s founder Mandy Gurney to help parents make sure their baby sleeps safely this summer.
Mandy’s top tips for three key areas of safe summer sleep include cooling the bedroom, keep the baby cool and ensure baby is well-hydrated throughout the night.
“It’s important to make sure your baby is not too hot as the chance of SIDS is higher in babies that get too hot,” said Mandy. “However, we understand it can be more difficult to keep your baby’s sleeping conditions within the ideal range of 16 to 20 degrees in summer, as the temperature rises and many families head off on warm holidays.”
She continued: “Making sure you’re prepared early on is essential, which is why we’re working with The Gro Company to share tips and advice on how to make sure your baby sleeps safely and well as the season changes.”
A leader in safe infant sleep, The Gro Company has also released two new products ahead of the summer season – The Superlight Grosnug and the Groromper Light, both of which have been designed to help make transitioning into warmer temperatures easier for parents and comfier for babies.
