Green Sheep Group bolsters team

The nursery brand has made three new appointments, as the business welcomes a new head of sales, head of international sales and head of marketing.

Following the news that industry heavyweight, Mitch Levene, has also joined the GSG team, it’s set to be a significant year for the business.

With over 35 years of experience between them, the new recruits include Carey Devine, as head of sales, Josh Bishop as head of international sales, and Jamie Jillard as head of marketing. The new appointments reflect the brand’s ambitious plans for growth for 2023 and beyond.

Jamie will be focussed on developing the GSG brands to build a stronger connection with both The Little Green Sheep and Snüz customers. Her new role will see Jamie elevate the Snüz brands as thought leader and expert in sleep, while also harnessing and developing the natural pathway for The Little Green Sheep.

Jamie said: “Drawing on my experience as a marketer and a new mum, I hope to inject creativity into the role in order to achieve my key objectives, to nurture brands that our customers feel proud to buy from and our employees, suppliers, retailers and partners are proud to work with.”

Having spent over 15 years working with UK high street retailers, Carey’s role will see her lead the UK sales team to grow both the Snüz and LGS brands within the high street and indie sectors, with clear objectives to build a customer focused sales team to support at all levels in the industry.

Carey commented: “I look forward to bringing a fresh and creative outlook on our approach to help grow the UK business and become best in class at what we do and who we are. Bringing our customers on our journey of growth is important to me.”

Josh has been appointed to develop new markets and strategic global partnerships. As the new head of international sales, he will be drawing on more than eight years export management experience and knowledge in growing scale in order to expand GSG’s global footprint.

Working across both GSG and Snüz, Josh has a clear objective to strategically bring new products to market and grow international presence.

Roger Allen at GSG, added: “Here at GSG we believe that building a team with the right culture and great people is paramount. These recent appointments, alongside Mitch just a few weeks ago, reflect our commitment to finding the best people and recruiting true talent.

“Jamie, Carey and Josh each demonstrated knowledge in their areas, as well as determination and a passion for our brand; we are confident between them they will deliver and support GSG’s assertive plans for growth.”
