Glenn Moore to host the Progressive Preschool Awards 2024

With Tuesday 12 November fast approaching, the final touches for the Progressive Preschool Awards 2024 are being put in place – with the host of the event being confirmed.

Comedian, actor, Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee and one of the best and most prolific joke writers in the country, Glenn Moore will be taking charge of proceedings at the Royal Lancaster London as host.

Glenn’s 2022 Edinburgh Fringe show Will You Still Need Me, Will You Still Feed Me, Glenn I’m Sixty Moore sold out with rave five star reviews from The Mail on Sunday, Chortle and The Courier, among a number of other publications.

He is a regular face on TV, having appeared on Live at the Apollo, Mock The Week (BBC), The Russell Howard Hour (Sky), Guessable (Comedy Central), Rob Delaney’s Stand Up Central (Comedy Central) and The Stand Up Sketch Show (ITV2), plus is also a regular guest on The Great American Joke Off (CW network) in the US. His Radio 4 series Glenn Moore’s Almanac aired in November 2023.

Glenn can also be heard daily as one quarter of The Dave Berry Breakfast Show on Absolute Radio, the UK’s biggest commercial radio breakfast show. He also appears regularly on The News Quiz (Radio 4).

The critically acclaimed stand-up show Glenn, Glenn, Glenn, How Do You Like It, How Do You Like It was nominated for the Edinburgh Comedy Award. He also toured the UK with his follow up hit Edinburgh show Love Don’t Live Here Glenny More. He is a staff writer on the sketch comedy show Scrambled (CITV) and has written for The Mash Report (BBC), Play To The Whistle (ITV), and Russell Howard’s Good News (BBC).

He’s also known for his silly, off-beat one-liners on X, which have earned him a huge following.

The winners of the Progressive Preschool Awards 2024 will be crowned at a glittering lunchtime ceremony on Tuesday 12 November at the Royal Lancaster London.
