Fundamentally Children has ensured that Good Toys from a wide range of toy specialists has been placed in the hands of thousands of UK children at a number of experiential marketing events.
This summer has seen the team of experts at Fundamentally Children touring the UK to introduce the nation’s children and families to products featured within the Good Toy Guide. Companies include Geomag, Epoch, Skip Hop, Hornby, Ravensburger, Learning Resources, Kids@Play and SEEKERS.
The Good Toy Zone has also attended three festivals, hosted weekly play days with The Entertainer and overseen the launch of a new partnership with 360 Play.
“It’s been an incredibly busy and successful summer of events,” said Amanda Gummer, founder and md. “We’ve been able to bring Good Toys directly to families and children in a non-pressured environment, allowing them to play and explore and really understand the brands and toys on offer.”
In total almost 75,000 people visited the festivals, offering invaluable exposure for the Good Toy Guide’s clients. In-store, the weekly Balanced Play days with The Entertainer saw sales more than double at some locations, with demonstrations from Geomag, Epoch, Melissa & Doug and Addo.
“In a changing and challenging retail landscape where so many sales are now moving online, experiential marketing is crucial in building brand awareness, loyalty and a real understanding of product offerings,” concluded Amanda.
“Bringing Good Toys to families is key to helping children access a balanced play diet, one of the key ingredients in a healthy, happy childhood.”
