Elmer apparel line launches in Japan

Japanese retailer Graniph takes inspiration from preschool character for limited edition range.

Japanese retailer, Graniph has launched a limited edition apparel range inspired by the popular preschool picture book series, Elmer the Patchwork Elephant.

The Elmer artwork has been developed by Graniph’s design team into a striking capsule collection. This has been displayed in feature windows and activations, alongside character wall art and Elmer books in Graniph’s 120 stores.

Founded in 2001, Graniph pioneered the fusion of art and fashion on t-shirts. Through collaborations with cutting edge artists from around the world, Graniph aims to provide its customers with the freshest limited edition products at a competitive price.

The deal was brokered by Japanese agent, Tuttle Mori.
