Dr. Gummer’s Good Play Guide – the independent expert accreditation for children’s product and content – is showcasing four new consumer IP brands at the upcoming Brands & Retail conference on 4 July.
The guide – founded by psychologist, author and parenting guru Amanda Gummer – has identified the brands as being ones to watch following her evidence-based review and play-testing process.
Brands & Retail Conferences aims to bridge the gap between brand and retailer, with the one-day conference encouraging knowledge-sharing and industry dialogue. The Good Play Guide, in its spot as sponsor, will introduce Let’s Go See, Amanda’s Action Club, Little Rebels and Lammy to the industry’s key decision makers.
Let’s Go See is from Plane Characters and has been developed to inspire children with a love of travel and worldly culture; Amanda’s Action Club is the brainchild of celebrity entertainer, Amanda Frolich, with the immersive physical development teaching concept encouraging early years children to embrace a healthy lifestyle; Little Rebels tackles pop culture and mental health, with the tactile plush dolls already in Macy’s and Walmart; while Lammy from 3Megos will be given an exclusive preview of the first episode of the preschool lamb and his friends.
“Brands & Retail delivers a wonderful forum for The Good Play Guide to present new properties worthy of consideration by retail,” commented Dr Amanda Gummer. “Our reason for being is to enable parents and shoppers to cut through the noise and make smart and informed choices when it comes to toys, games and brands, so we jumped at the chance to be part of this year’s conference to introduce four new properties accredited by us with great credentials and positive values.”
As well as her presenting slot showcasing the new IP, Amanda will be moderating a Women In Licensing Panel at the event. Details of the full event line-up can be found by clicking here.
