Primark further strengthens Disney partnership

Disney café planned for new Birmingham store, plus babywear collection featuring Dumbo launches.

Primark is about to further expand its relationship with Disney, with the brand owner set to open a themed café in the retailer’s new Birmingham store.

Retail Gazette reports that the café will be Disney’s first outside of its resorts and cruise ships.

The new Birmingham store – which is due to open on April 11 – will be Primark’s biggest in its global portfolio. It will have a footprint of 161,000 sq ft and five storeys.

In addition to this, Primark has launched a new collection starring Dumbo – including babywear – in time for Mother’s Day. The pastel coloured range includes baby grows, sleep suits, rompers, a sleeping bag, a dungaree set and pyjamas.
