Budding rock stars feel the beat with new VTech launch

To celebrate the launch of the VTech Kidi DJ Drums, VTech recently hosted an exclusive Drum Masterclass where budding young musicians could get their musical juices flowing and discover the art of rhythm and beat-making.

Whether they were just starting out or looking to sharpen their skills, guests left with enhanced confidence, fresh creativity and a deeper passion for music. Plus, they got a sneak peek at how the new Kidi DJ Drums can turn any young musician into a mini music producer.

The event was headlined by celebrity kid drummer, Nandi Bushell (pictured above with the VTech team), who put on an exhilarating showcase using both the VTech Kidi DJ Drums and her very own drum kit.

Aspiring musicians then had the chance to follow in Nandi’s footsteps, participating in interactive sessions where they learnt new rhythms, techniques and tricks to take home and practice on their own VTech Kidi DJ Drums.

With a Q&A with Nandi available to the children as well, the young drummers left with all the expert knowledge, skills, tricks and confidence they need to be a musical pro. VTech’s masterclass was designed to be both an educational and inspirational event, leaving every participant excited to unleash their inner rockstar.

“From the initial planning stages of this launch we have loved the idea of working with Nandi to really bring the Kidi DJ Drums to life,” commented Rebecca Lazarus, UK marketing manager at VTech and LeapFrog. “As a key product for the brand, at a crucial time of year, it was important to us to position the campaign correctly. We were looking for something to really engage and captivate our audience. We are excited to see how the rollout performs and contributes to sales, as we approach the home-straight to Christmas 2024.”

Nandi Bushell, young musician, actor and author, added: “I’m so excited to be part of this amazing launch with VTech and help inspire the next generation of young drummers. Music is all about creativity, expression and having fun, and I had a great time showing these budding musicians how to get started with the VTech Kidi DJ Drums. It’s been awesome to work with VTech on the launch and watching these little rockstars discover new rhythms and beats, and seeing their confidence grow as they find their groove. I hope this has sparked their passion for music and shown them that with a little practice and a lot of fun, they can become the next big thing.”
